Mind Field

Skateboarding team Alien Workshop has recently come out with a new video called Mind Field. This video was extremely well made. Not only was it well edited with lots of artsy scenes, but the skating in it was amazing. There were plenty of good skaters, but the one that left me speechless was Arto Saari. This man has taken the use of handrails to a completely new level. He can balance on them better than a hockey player on the ice (not really but you get my point). The size of the rails that this man is hitting up would make most skaters pee their pants, and on top of that, there is the level of dificulty of the trick he does on the rail. Lots of skaters skate big rails, but I have never seen someone skate rails this big AND do tricks this dificult on them. I recomend everybody to watch Arto's new part as well as the rest of the video. Thank you and good night!

Dr.Dog part 2

Well I saw Dr.Dog, and I had a great time. Although I did not get to heard the band too well due to the quality of the sound where it took place, I thought all bands were great. It happened at the Culture Room, and it was my first time there. I thought the place was very nice and relaxing. The music fit the ambient perfectly. Sitting outdoors, looking at the stars (sometimes they can be seen down in Florida, you just have to try hard enough), and listening to quite a few good bands play made my friday night one to remember.

Iron Maiden

On April 2nd, 2009, for the first time in thirteen years, metal legends Iron Maiden will be performing in only one place in the whole United States. This place is none other than the Bank Atlantic center, and I am the lucky owner of a ticket to see them. Only three days after the tickets went on sale is when I purchased mine, and I still got one of the last in the very last row. This is not a problem to me, however. Seeing this band means so much to me that I am prepared to see the show from whatever angle I am given. If anybody happens to have tickets way in the back like me, feel free to let me know and maybe we can watch the show together, since I am going by myself.

Dr.Dog

This weekend I will be attending a concert of a band that I don't know much about, but sounds good from what I have heard. The ticket was cheap, it's close, and I am trying to be a little more open to new music. I am not very open to bands from now a days, but I did listen to a bit of Dr.Dog and they sounded pretty good. To me they sounded like a band from today with the sounds of a band from yesterday (yesterday being a few decades ago). If you listen to this band or know what they sound like, why don't you tell me your opinion on them or maybe some songs to listen to by them. Thank you.

Where is Mr.T

It has been a while since we have seen Tadeu Carabias, and we had no idea why, until a thought hit me. Tadeu drives a car with a giant hole on the bottom, and I cant think of any other reason for his disappearance than the fact that he fell through that hole as the car was in motion, and was never seen again. So far, since I'm the only one who has come up with a reason, I would say I am right. If anyone has a better reason why we have not seen him. Please do inform me.

School cafeteria food

I cannot begin to count how many times I have heard kids nag about the school cafeteria's food. It may not be fancy, but for something that only costs 2.25, this food is amazing. The wraps with the right dressing are great. They are made with good quality ingredients. Everything is except maybe the pizza and the burgers. The spaghetti tastes just like any fancy spaghetti I have had. The milk is never expired. Everything is fresh, and people still have the nerve to say the food is nasty when half of them have never tried it. Had to write this real quick so I would not forget the idea. Bye

it's an epidemic

I simply ask why do 85% of girls feel like they are proffesional photographer. They have an album on their myspace or facebook, in which they have one thousand close ups of flowers and stuff that looks good with a high definition camera. No offense but it is not very hard to zoom into a clover and set the camera to AV mode or whatever that is. I give props to sports photographers who catch a photo of a baseball as it hits the bat, or my personal favorite, skateboarding photographers catching the skater in he air. Anyways, thats my blog.
